Early SKILLS Program - Ages 3 &
4
Three to four year olds love
physical activity and anything involving play. They have a rich imagination and
strong desire to be less dependent on their usual caregivers. The problem we
discovered is that many children this age have a hard time with structure in a
group environment like what is commonly found in most Martial Arts schools.
The solution we found is to provide
them with their own program that targets their stage of development in a manner
that keeps them entertained while at the same time building skills that set
them up for success. With that said a structured program introducing early
skill-based training in Martial Arts has proven to be very successful.

ADULT PROGRAM
Taekwondo is more than just a way
to get in shape or learn self-defense. As you master this ancient martial art
and continue on the path to the ultimate goal of black belt, you’ll push
yourself physically and mentally to places you never thought possible.
Even if you don’t consider yourself
athletic, we’ll enable you to go as far as you want with our specially designed
program. You can finally stick with a fitness program as the progression
through the belts of taekwondo combined with the calorie burning kickboxing
routine keep you coming back for more.

About Carlstadt: Carlstadt is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As
of the 2010 United States Census, the borough population was 6,127. Carlstadt
was originally formed as a village by an Act of the New Jersey Legislature on
March 12, 1860, within Lodi Township. It was named after Dr. Carl Klein, the
leader of a group of early German settlers who led the project to establish the
community. The Borough of Carlstadt was incorporated on June 27, 1894, formally
set off from Bergen Township, at the height of the
Boroughitis phenomenon then
sweeping through Bergen County. Carlstadt is bordered on the south by East
Rutherford in Bergen County, Secaucus and North Bergen in Hudson County, on the
north by Wood-Ridge and Moonachie (Bergen) to the east by Ridgefield and South
Hackensack (Bergen), and to the northwest by Wallington (Bergen).
It is approximately 8 miles (13 km)
northwest of New York City and 95 miles (153 km) northeast of Philadelphia.
Carlstadt, NJ with surrounding areas in East Rutherford, Rutherford,
Wood-Ridge, Hasbrouck Heights, and Lyndhurst, is home to Sunrise Taekwondo, a
Martial Arts facility offering programs in Kids Martial Arts, Adult Martial
Arts, and Fitness Kickboxing.
